Evlon® is a compostable packaging PLA (polylactic acid) film for converters, providing high-gloss, transparent, and printable options that meet industrial compostability standards for applications like dry foods, tea bags, and produce bags. This allows brands to meet eco-demand with performance comparable to conventional films. Bio-based films are engineered for form/fill/seal (FFS) machines and lamination, reducing fossil fuel dependence and enabling downstream recycling/composting.
Evlon Compostable Film, made from PLA, is a crystal clear film that offers exceptional stiffness, strength, outstanding twist retention and deadfold. It possesses high energy surfaces for printing, offers a very good flavour and aroma barrier, as well as resistance to water, grease and oils. The film is available in a sealable version that seals at lower temperatures than most OPP films. Truly, a film that is unlike any other!
